About Meadows Foundation Trust

A group of like minded people joined hands in the form of self help group to start a campaign to serve our mother land by creating a congenial atmosphere in which everybody can live with dignity without fear and in peace, in absence of which the progress of the country is not possible. It was considered that need of the hour to survive that composite culture which was built up by selfless endeavour of great sufis and saints made over the centuries which seemed to be torn by communal forces. Abdur Rahim Khan – E- Khanan was the symbol of composite culture.

Hence,Abdur Rahman Khan – E – Khanan Memorial Society was formed. The scholars and academicians conducted seminars, symposium and published books and magazine for the cause. The members of the society collaborated with already existing group “Sadbhav Mission” to work for communal harmony on grassroots level; Involve and educate common people to express our collective voice against communalism.

Objectives of the Trust

  • The main objective of the trust is to safeguard the fundamental rights of every individual as directed by Indian Constitution.
  • To retain the fundamental duties in individual’s life in practical, this includes ‘root out communalism’; eliminate enmity and hatred on the grounds of religion, cast, race, language etc.
  • To maintain harmony between groups that is likely to disturb public tranquility and public order; and against the government.
  • To work in the areas of Education, Arts, Science, Social Service and Humanities – by establishing institutes and training centres in respective areas for deprived groups, women segments, poverty driven kids etc.
